Connection to standard elements such as busbars, nuts, bolts, V-clamps or NH fuses.

Secure, fast and flexible connecting with the CONLOX® Grid Clamp System

The focus of the transformation in the low-voltage grid is on smart grids, including smart metering with its intelligent metering systems
(iMSys) such as electricity meters and SMGW (Smart Meter Gateways). Therefore, we have developed the CONLOX® connection system to connect these to the energy grid, some of which is 100 years old. It is the flexible retrofit solution for installing measurement technology, smart grid solutions and powerline technology in your network, regardless of manufacturer and design.

Safe and quick installation on live cables / No need to disconnect the devices from the mains.

Flexible connection options including high-security fuse (F=6A with 70kA breaking capacity)

The original touch protection of the NH strip fuse switches is retained.

Current draws to supply your measurement technology.

Your low-voltage network will benefit from the CONLOX® connection system too!

Challenges for network operators

Energy suppliers are facing significant changes due to the growing share of decentralized renewable energies.
The supply task will become more complex due to weather and seasonal fluctuations in feed-in, especially with new consumers such as electric vehicles and heat pumps.

Current low-voltage grids are not designed for these developments and it is not possible to completely rebuild them. Therefore grid operators need to control the low-voltage grid in line with demand. Monitoring and digitalization of the low-voltage grid are essential for this. Only then can consumer devices be throttled in a targeted manner in order to avoid overloads. And at the same time, this can create the basis for a needs-based grid expansion in order to be able to cope with higher loads with the existing infrastructure in the future. Transparency and data collection from the low voltage are crucial in order to implement successful measures for grid operation optimization and supply security.
